The E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant was completed on-time and on-budget. This project was unique and the first of it's kind, size and capacity in Alberta. The new UV building has the capacity to house 5 UV reactors to manage the future water demand to purify approximately 240 ML/day, maximum capacity. Currently the facility only uses 3 UV reactors, and as the E.L. Smith WTP expands all future water quality issues can be met.
