Industrial Project Manager
Location: Edmonton, AB
This job is located in Edmonton, Alberta, and may require working in industrial construction camp environments. 3-5 yrs PM experience in industrial projects.
The general overall duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager are to ensure the overall project profitability, be fully responsible for defining specific assignments and duties with the superintendent and project coordinator to suit the particular project requirements, be responsible for the development of and management of the Project QA/QC program in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and adhering to Clark Builders Policies and Procedures.
Specific Project Responsibilities Include:

-A minimum of 3 years - 5 years working as a Project Manager with Industrial project experience.
-A thorough understanding of the Project Management processes, and systems
-The ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-The ability to plan and develop and monitor project schedules.
-A basic understanding of Construction Contract Law, including ability to read and interpret Contracts and Lien legislation.
-Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with the client.
-Fosters on-going professional relationships.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
-The ability to efficiently handle and administer multiple tasks on concurrently running projects

Training / Education
Preferred educational requirements include: A Post-Secondary Degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent of a designated Professional Engineer or a Technical School graduate in a Construction related discipline.
