Clark Builders was chosen as the Construction Manager by the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club to construct the new North Central Community Recreation Centre. This 216,000 S.F. facility includes an Aquatics Centre, a field house and indoor training facility for the Edmonton Eskimos, and an all new fitness centre. The project also includes a major expansion and renovation to the existing 3-storey fitness centre and Edmonton Eskimos Football Club offices, as well as extensively landscaped plaza and parking areas. The new state of the art facility hopes to achieve LEED Silver Certification and thus will feature a solar wall along the west face of the field house. The field house is to be ready when The City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Eskimos host the Grey Cup in 2010 and the remainder of the project will be completed in spring 2011.
