Clark Builders completed extensive, multi-floor interior renovations to the existing Andrew Davison Building. This 13-storey commercial office tower project was completed on a rolling turnover basis to accommodate phased occupancy by the City. Each floor was fit-out with traditional office space, open-concept cubicle sections and enclosed conference room facilities. Designated “flex space” areas were included to allow for employee gatherings and open discussions.
In addition to the complete demolition and replacing of all existing mechanical and electrical services, new power and data distribution systems have been installed on each floor. All north and south facing windows were replaced and new framing, insulation, vapour barrier and drywall have been installed. A new building security system featuring card access, remote monitoring and video surveillance was incorporated.
The project was delivered to meet LEED Silver specifications.
