Project Description

Clark Builders was contracted to construct a pre-engineered expansion to Mercury Plastics’ Edmonton Warehouse. The facility is a hub for the production of construction products and industrial and consumer packaging.

Leveraging the Design-Build delivery model, the team designed and constructed a 25,000 sq.ft. warehouse addition to the existing manufacturing facility. The design and construction had to consider a current site with limited working room, including large volumes of tractor-trailer deliveries, a facility that remained operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and a firm project budget.

This project used the Butler TBS roof system, which provides an additional blanket of insulation to the facility. With a fast installation time, the work conformed to our timeline. The Butler building installation was self-performed by Clark Builders’ Metals division. Our team completed this project on-time and within budget due to positive communication with our trade partners on-site.
