Seven Stones Community College

This LEED® Gold certified 2-storey school accommodates Grades 1 through 8 and includes a daycare facility. The steel structure was clad in both metal panel and masonry, as well as incorporating a curved curtain wall that provides natural light to the main circulation areas. The green design features for this project include in-slab radiant floor heating and cooling, a displacement HVAC system, high-efficiency boilers, extensive use of recycled materials, daylighting strategies, a high-performance building envelope and distinctive south facing exterior sunshade panels.
