This project consists of multiple phases, including a 284,000 sq.ft. aeration hall, a 77,000 sq.ft., 60’ tall dewatering facility and a 55,811 sq.ft. tipping building. The aeration hall structure is a stainless steel Behlen stress skin building, an innovative solution suggested by Clark Builders to withstand the corrosive environment conditions.
The dewatering facility is a pre-engineered metal building consisting of three smaller structures supporting various collateral loads including over 60,000 lbs of ductwork, electrical cable trays and overhead crane ways. Lastly, the tipping building is built for unloading sorting waste materials.
