Transforming NorQuest College's Downtown Campus: A Vibrant Green Space Redevelopment.
NorQuest College's Downtown Campus Redevelopment was a bold and visionary initiative aimed to transform the campus into a state-of-the-art learning environment.
The third phase of the project involved the redevelopment of the Civic Employees Legacy Tower, the demolition of Centre 102 and the construction of a vibrant green space on the site of the demolished building.
Clark Builders installed a new landscaped plaza that boasts architectural concrete, comfortable benches, curved walkways, decorative signage, and ample green space.
Although the project was not specifically seeking LEED Certification, we tracked waste for reporting purposes and diverted as much waste as possible from landfills.
The downtown redevelopment project enhanced Norquest’s role as a community hub by creating new gathering spaces and a thriving campus that fosters collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning.
