Customer Fulfillment Centre Voilà

The construction of the new Grocery Customer Fulfillment Centre for Voila Grocery is located in Rocky View County just outside Calgary city limits.  

We were selected to oversee the construction of this state-of-the-art complex facility, which features the latest in technology and advanced infrastructure aiming to transform the online grocery shopping experience, and ultimately ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers.

The project involved the integration of an Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) into the facility's operations, which required construction to adhere to very low tolerances for the floors, HVAC, and other building elements. Our team was responsible for ensuring that the construction met these strict tolerances to enable the ASRS to function at its highest capacity.

The facility spans an impressive 350,000 square feet, consisting of a fully equipped warehouse, dispatch center, administrative offices, and various employee facilities.  

The addition of the Customer Fulfillment Centre Voilà to our portfolio has pushed our contribution to industrial spaces in Southern Alberta to over three million square feet in the last five years. Our focus was the delivery of a top-notch facility that will enhance the distribution network, complement the current in-store offerings, and meet the increasing demands of online shopping. The facility will create around 1,500 new job opportunities for the local community.
