The IBM Leadership Data Centre is a highly resilient, mission-critical facility designed to support Strategic Outsourcing and Business Continuity and Recovery Services for IBM’s customers. Built to IBM Level III+ standards, the facility delivers secure, reliable infrastructure to meet demanding operational requirements.
The initial phase included 25,000 square feet of white space, with 15,000 square feet enabled at 100 watts per square foot. The facility also incorporates purpose-built office, administration, and support areas to accommodate shipping and receiving, maintenance, security, and operational circulation.
The data centre features dual utility electrical feeds, emergency diesel power generation, and uninterrupted power supply systems configured for N+1 redundancy. Mechanical systems include a water-cooled chiller plant with a waterside economizer, also designed with N+1 redundancy to ensure continuous performance.
A subsequent tape room conversion added a high-density data hall, increasing capacity with approximately 100 cabinets and 500kW of IT load. Together, these elements create a future-ready data centre focused on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
