Project Description

The Weldco Heavy Industries Fabrication and Repair Shop in Fort McMurray, Alberta, is comprised of three Behlen buildings. There is one building each for the office, shop, and paint shop. To accommodate the requirement for a 100 tonne plus 25 tonne auxiliary craneage from zero inches to 60 feet above the slab, Clark Builders installed a heavy concrete foundation with tie-beams. The mechanical and electrical services required for a steel fabrication and repair shop were also integrated into the buildings.
