YCE Multiplex

The YCE Multiplex Renovation and Expansion is a joint initiative between the Town of Edson and Yellowhead County, aimed at strengthening local infrastructure and supporting community well-being. This project reflects a shared vision to invest in inclusive, multi-use facilities that promote health, recreation, and connection.

For Clark Builders, it’s an opportunity to continue our strong track record of delivering multi-use community spaces that serve diverse populations and leave a lasting positive impact on the communities we help build.

The redevelopment will take place in four phases, with a carefully planned approach to ensure the Edson and District Leisure Centre remains open and accessible during construction.

Project Scope:

• Demolition of the existing aquatics centre and construction of a new, modern aquatic facility
• Addition of a new NHL-size ice arena
• Renovation of the existing Centennial Arena
• Repurposing the Memorial Arena into a dedicated curling rink
• Construction of a new central lobby and gymnasium with an elevated walking track
• Site servicing and infrastructure improvements

Once complete, the YCE Multiplex will stand as a dynamic, inclusive space where residents of all ages can gather, play, and stay active.
