Shaping the future of Alberta's Healthcare

Red Deer, AB—Clark Builders is proud to share that we have been awarded two self-perform concrete contracts by Alberta Infrastructure for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) Redevelopment.
The first contract covers the New Patient Tower (NPT) structure that includes one-storey below grade basement and a seven-storey tower including formwork, placement, finishing, and reinforcing steel. The second covers the Powerplant structure, a two-storey facility connected to the existing hospital.
These awards represent a significant milestone for our Self-Perform Operations team and reflect our trusted relationship with Alberta Infrastructure and Alberta Health Services. Our experience on major healthcare and institutional projects, including the Red Deer Justice Centre helped position Clark Builders for success on this next phase of the redevelopment.
“This project showcases our team’s technical expertise and commitment to delivering complex, community-impacting work safely and efficiently.”— Mike Strandberg, Manager, Self-Perform Operations
We are proud to be working alongside DIALOG to help bring this project to life. Once complete, the RDRHC Redevelopment will reduce patient transfers to Edmonton and Calgary and enhance access to high-quality care across Alberta’s Central Zone.
Construction on the New Patient Tower has begun and anticipated to be complete by May 2027.
